Chris Mahaffey – Managing Member / General Manager
Chris has a long history in the building supply industry….Having grown up working for his father Rich’s company, Ply Marts, Inc., he became familiar with all aspects of running a successful building supply company.  From Order Processing to Purchasing to Quality Control and Logistics Chris has vast experience.

With an Undergraduate degree in Management from Clemson University and a Masters degree in Finance from Georgia State University Chris has a firm grasp of how to run an operation from the people/process side to crunching the numbers.  Chris is married with three children and resides in Richmond Hill, GA.

Adam Newman – Partner – Sales Manager

Adam also grew up in the building supply business working alongside his father at Builders Co-op, a highly successful garage door and fireplace company based in Claxton, GA.  Adam took over the business from his father and rapidly grew the business, eventually servicing the entire Coastal Empire.

Adam has also held various sales positions within the industry finding a great deal of success at each stop.  His extensive product knowledge as well as his ability to create and cultivate relationships have helped I.D.S. grow rapidly.

Adam attended and graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA.  Adam has two children and resides in Claxton, GA.

Rich Mahaffey – Partner

Rich, who resides in Decatur, GA, currently serves as a partner and consultant to I.D.S.  Rich is able to draw on over forty years in the business and this knowledge has proven extremely valuable in firmly establishing and growing I.D.S.

Rich is also a partner in PMC Supply, a building supply operation based in Marietta, GA.  Rich is a former basketball player and 1969 graduate of Clemson University.
